Field Set Up/Take Down Instructions:
ALL DIVISIONS:
Set up and take down schedule by field will be posted each Thursday. Click here for this week's schedule
U6 DIVISIONS:
Fields at Hawthorne will need to be re-striped each week. Stripers and paint are in the Cal Ripkin shed, along with goals and corner flags for all three fields. Coordinators have e-mailed the combiniation.
Goals, flags, and stripers need to be locked back into the shed at the end of play each day. There are 2 goals and 4 corner flags in each bag.
Coaches, please take away empty paint cans and dispose of them off site. Kids are remarkably good at getting the last of an "empty" paint can and spraying it where it shouldn't be!
Please direct families to use the on-site porta potty during the games.
Please DO NOT allow kids or families to move or hang on the portable goals at Hawthorne. They belong to the school and the principal asked that we leave them as they are.
U8 DIVISIONS:
Goals, nets, and corner flags for the C1, C2, C3 and C4 fields at Damon Garcia need to be taken from the trailer in the parking lot out to each field. There should be 1 goal, 1 net, and 2 corner flags in each bag. Coaches/parents, please be sure of this before lugging them out to the fields.
Goals, nets, and corner flags need to be returned to the trailer following the last game on each field. Please ensure that 1 goal, 1 net, and 2 corner flags are in each bag before taking them back to the trailer.
U10 DIVISIONS:
Goals, nets, and corner flags need to be taken from the trailer in the parking lot out to A1, A2, B1 and B2 fields.
U12 AND UP DIVISIONS:
City goals are already on the fields and need to be rolled into place. Once they are where they are supposed to be, unlock the wheels and flip them back so that the goal is resting flat. If you see a problem with the wheels, please send me an e-mail at the end of the day so that we can address it.
Corner flags are in the trailer in the parking lot. Please have someone take 4 to each field on their way to the first game.
Goal nets are in the city's electrical room or the snack bar. They are in blue net bags, usually in a wheelbarrow. One net for each goal needs to be taken out to the fields.
At the end of play, nets need to be returned to the net bags and placed back to the wheel barrow. The wheel barrow should be taken back to the snack bar. Corner flags need to be returned to the trailer.
Goals need to be rolled together off to the side of each field.
