Players are selected based on skill, sportsmanship and coach recommendations. Teams compete within AYSO Area 10Q in Central California and throughout the State. The program provides an extended soccer season for those who do not have a conflicting soccer commitment. A player selected for this program has demonstrated skill and aptitude for the sport, a positive and coachable attitude, and good sportsmanship. Players will be provided the opportunity to increase skills and is expected to continue demonstrating good sportsmanship, leadership and team commitment. Expectations Player Selection: Players selected to play will be expected to commit to the entire all-star season. Players who are unable to commit to play in every all-star season tournament may be excluded from the selection process. Approximate Cost: $225 per player + optional warm-ups and backpack ($100 extra) Required family meeting for selected players: Wednesday, December 2nd at 6:30pm in the Laguna Middle School multipurpose room Refereeing: Each all-star team will have the responsibility of supplying 3-4 certified referees for each tournament. All coaches and assistant coaches must be referee certified. A representative/parent of each U10 player selected must be referee certified. Referee certification will be offered to those who need it (see Referee tab). Practice: 2 per week during tournament season (with a break for Christmas) Area 10Q All Star Yellow Card Policy A player accumulating three (3) cautions "Yellow Cards" or a send-off (Red Card) during Area League Playoffs, the AYSO Winter Tournaments, Area "All-Stars" Playoffs and Section Playoffs will be suspended from their next scheduled game played. A player accumulating an addition two (2) Yellow Cards during Area League Playoffs, the AYSO Winter Tournaments, Area "All-stars" Playoffs and Section Playoffs will be suspended from their next scheduled game played. A player accumulating a second send-off (Red Card) during the Area League teams Playoffs, the AYSO Winter Tournament, Area "All Stars" Playoffs and Section Playoffs will be suspended from two (2) of their next scheduled games played. 2010 Season Tournaments
